Check out what's being said about Coffee!
AARP The Magazine
I was reading the January/February 2007 issue of the AARP Magazine that arrived at my home, and I was delighted to read their article, 9 Secrets to Better Health! by Sid Kirchheimer. In the index of the magazine it reads, "Feel Great Now The path to good health is surprisingly short:Â nine ways to boost wellness in 15 minutes or less."
I'm like many people who have a busy schedule. I'm busy running the Murillo Trading Company's office. Filling online coffee orders, mailing them out, delivering coffee to the local shops, who sell the Murillo coffee, and helping with our grandson. So when I saw the article about Better Health, I went straight to page 40 to read.
It is a great feeling to see that the second thing Sid wrote about, in his better health article, talked about the benefits of drinking coffee.
We all know coffee is a great pick me up, and for those who drink decaffeinated coffee - please sign up for our Newsletter so we can let you know when our Naturally Decaffeinated Coffee shipment arrives, straight from our farms in Colombia, South America.
As I was saying, we all know coffee has many benefits, but did you know research shows that coffee can help protect against a variety of ailments?
In the AARP Magazine article Sid writes "Research shows that coffee protects against a variety of ailments - from cavities to colon cancer. And some studies suggest that the more you drink, the better."
In this same AARP article Sid wrote, "The beverage lowers your risk of type 2 diabetes and can protect your liver from damage, too"
And that wasn't all I read. I must tell you that I often get into conversations with people and talk to them about the many benefits of drinking coffee, and it feels great to see a reputable magazine like AARP, include COFFEE, in their Health Benefits article.
As I read on, I read "Caffeine gets the credit for some of coffees magic powers, including protection against Parkinson's disease and gallstones. But coffees main benefit comes from its wealth of antioxidants. In fact, the coffee bean has one of the highest antioxidant contents of all berries, says Tomas de Paulis, PH.D., formerly of the Vanderbilt University Institute for Coffee Studies. That's why, drop for drop, coffee has more of these nutrients than even red wine."
Our naturally decaffeinated coffee beans hold the same health benefits as our regular, vanilla and cinnamon coffees. Because we take our specialty coffee beans and put them through a process without chemicals, our decaffeinated coffees are enjoyed during the day or night. Please sign up for our Newsletter to receive discounts on your next order, and we will let you know when our decaffeinated coffee arrives.
Coffee lovers Drink up! and keep up with a well rounded healthy routine of eating right, getting plenty of exercise and yes, drinking coffee.
